Trumpeter Eric Sperry keeps a busy performance schedule in the Milwaukee metro area. Currently leader of Groove Therapy, Eric has also performed or recorded with Chris Vadala, D’CalleSon (salsa), Concord Chamber Orchestra, Voz De Mi Tierra (mariachi), Uncle Larry, Off The Wall Theatre, Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra, Waukesha Choral Union, Milwaukee Choristers, Lakeside Brass Quintet, and Blessed Savior Parish.
Eric maintains a successful private studio and is active as a brass clinician, adjudicator, and marching band/drum corps instructor. He holds performance degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (MM) and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (BM). Eric’s primary teachers include Kevin Hartman and Darryl White, with additional influences from Wayne Bergeron, Bob Syverson, Lew Cole, and Norman Sodomka.
